The class constitution defines the student's role, responsibilities, rights and privileges as a member of the CYTE classroom.
CYTE Class Preamble
We the Team of Oriole in Order to form a more perfect School, establish rules, insure learning, provide for our Team’s success, to be kind to others and establish this Constitution for the CYTE Class.
Article 1- We agree to the following CYTE Rules
*Always give your best effort
*Respect the team and teachers
*Manners need to be demonstrated
*Keep hands, feet and all objects to yourself
*Follow directions the first time given
Article 2: What do we agree to do and have in order to produce quality grade work:
Bring proper supplies, Show work, Take time to complete work, Check work to see if right/correct, Maintain a clean area, Ask for assistance when needed, Wear school uniform, Stay on Task
Article 3: Why we read as a member of the CYTE Team:
To become a better reader, to learn vocabulary (borrow $1,000,000 words), Learn new information, Understand with a deeper meaning, Identify important information, Become successful, to gain knowledge, Make smart decisions, Get inspired, Discover, To become a better reader
Article 4: We become a better reader by agreeing to:
Reread for a better understanding, Use a Word Bank, Take out time, Talk about and discuss our reading, Write about the book
